Because we are an individually owned shop, we have the ability to offer services that you will not find in a chain store.
Group Orders
Whether you're a dance company or dressing 8 bridesmaids, sometimes you just need a lot of something. Not only do we stock a large variety of colors, we are also sometimes able to order fabrics to match a particular color or need. This can be especially helpful when one member of the wedding party suddenly becomes pregnant and has to make a dress to match the wedding party, or you need many spools of ribbon for the wedding programs or sheer fabrics for table toppers to match signature colors.
Ecclesiastical Specialties
We carry brocades and broadcloth to make ministers' robes, as well as an interesting selection of patterned ribbons and trims. We stock linens for church altar cloths. Our group order service is helpful for church choirs, praise dancers, banners and usher suits. We also offer embroidered crosses and scroll work for robes and vestments.
Heirloom Sewing
We try to keep in stock Swiss batiste, gingham and fine waled corduroys and cotton velveteen for smocking. Also mother of pearl buttons, silk ribbons and organza will allow you to make a christening gown sure to become a family heirloom.
